The NCRB report showcased Delhi's ongoing struggle as the most unsafe city for women in India, with the city accounting for 1,204 reported rape cases in 2022

The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) released its annual report for 2022, revealing a distressing 4% increase in crimes against women compared to the previous year, with a total of 4,45,256 cases registered. The report, released on December 3 alongside election results in four states, spotlighted a concerning rise in crimes against children, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and cybercrimes.
